I accept donations of some things at my shop. Any working computer is accepted, as well as any working parts. Some unworking parts are accepted. Things such as old printers and non-working CRT screens aren't usually worth fixing and so I don't want to accept, I do have very limited space. The Keaau transfer station has a recycling program, as well as Bayside Computers in Hilo (although they do charge for stuff you give them). What I do with donations varies, if I find a needy family I sometimes donate the computer to them, I may sell parts of it, I have a couple other computer people that deal with older systems than I deal with and so I pass them along.
